Family Weekend up at State...

Rick helping Cara warm up her tootsies!  It was a cold game...but such a great one!

There definitely were not as many fans at this game as there were at the September game!  Cara's friend, Whitney is one of the blonde cheerleaders down on the field.  The snow plow had to come clear the field from the snow!

I don't think the snowmen had to pay to get in!  They stuck around for the whole game, added to the number for attendance and loved the ending!

Here is Taylor, Cara and Allie at the game!  They left at half time and missed the BEST  ending!  Love a good football game!

Rick and I went to get some hot chocolate during the third quarter.  San Jose State was so close to getting into the end zone (as you can see) but were not able to do it!  Yeah!!!

Here I am at Romney Stadium!  We beat SJState by one point! I was so excited to be there for a win!  After the game we went back to Cara's apt (short for apartment) to warm up!  Then off for some shopping and dinner!

We also drove by the temple which is just beautiful at night!

Then we had to stop for some Aggie Ice Cream!  I tried three different flavors and got two for one! It was a fun night!

Cara at the Linger Longer (name for dinner after church) with her friends Kylie and Bailey.  Her ward is full of great young adults!  We really enjoyed meeting her friends.

This young man is one of the punter's for the Aggie football team.  He is from Oregon and served his mission with close friend, Davin Phillips. It was fun making that connection!

Dad, Cara and Mom after church and dinner.  We are so proud of our girl, Cara.  So many people came up to tell us of service that Cara had given them this past semester. We have awesome kids!

Cathy with Jacob Haueter.  It was fun meeting him!

Rick and Cara leaving church.

Cara and me at her church building.  I have never been in a Stake Center that has an office for the stake Relief Society President! This one has one... as well as two chapels.

After we left Logan we drove through Brigham City and got a picture of the new temple they are building there!  It looks a lot like the one in Rexburg. We are a temple building people!

Thanks Cara again for the fun weekend! We love you!

Halloween was a blast!

Those of you who know me know that I started working in September at Osmond Designs.  I work with some pretty & talented girls!  Our Monday crew decided to dress up for the holiday...a couple of us did, anyway!!!  Here I am all decked out as...Donny's Oldest Fan!  Customers loved the outfit and got a kick out of it.

Chanelle and I did go to some extent in dressing up.

Here is our Monday group...Chelsea, Chanelle, Cathy and Louise.  The best part of the day was getting off two hours early!  I loved all of the trick or treaters and tried to scare them after they would knock on the door!  As tradition goes at our home I had homemade sugar cookies for the adults and candy for the kids!

We got a fun visit from Cara and her friend Lindsey from Arizona.  The girls are interviewing with Del Sol and are planning to head somewhere warm for the winter!  Kelsey worked for them and was able to go to St. Lucia and Alaska....two polar opposites!  No pun intended!!!  (Ok...maybe I did intend it! )  :)
