The Smith's....

September Third

We had a busy day on September Third....Casey and Taylor came and stayed with us the night before from Arizona.  These boys are "real" cowboys!! They offered to help us with the yard work.  They we got the call from Kurt that Jen was in active labor...  I drove up to Logan to bring Cara down to see the latest addition of Kurt & Jen's!

We got to the hospital and found....

Beautiful McCoy Richard Smith.  He is the sweetest little boy!

Once again, I'm in love with another little boy!  Thanks Kurt and Jen for making such adorable little grand darlings!

Kurt and Jen and little McCoy...He weighed seven pounds and four ounces and I think only eighteen inches long...A tiny little                                   cherub!

We are so blessed!

I knitted this little hat for Cannon but Jen brought it for McCoy to wear. He is adorable, isn't he?

Cannon getting to know his new little brother, McCoy. It is so precious to see.

Sweet little picture of our boys...

Sweet little addition to our family.

Homecoming at Utah State....go Aggies!

Here we are at the tailgate party before the game. Cathy, Cara, Kelsey, Missy & Allie.  Love the shirts!!! Love these girls!

Mom & Cara & Dad!!!  We love you CareBear!!!

Kelsey came with us for this fun filled weekend!  We both got Aggie-fied (notice the A's on our cheeks!)  We had fun at the parade in the morning and ate at some fun restaurants.

I got to meet BIG Blue the Aggie's mascot.

This is us at the game..sadly, the Aggie's lost in double over time! It was such a bummer! But fun to see The Herd cheering their team on!  Cara's face was on the big screen a couple of times. Jen and Kurt even saw her on TV!!!  Go Cara!

We LOVE BIG Blue!!! and the AGGIES!!!

Taking Cara to State...

Cara transferred after graduation from EA with her associates to Utah State.  We took the "long" two hour drive up to Logan to get her settled in.

Missy and Cara...new roommates.  They knew each other at Eastern Arizona and both transferred up to Logan.

Getting things organized in Cara's room.  She has such great style.

Cara with her room almost complete.  She was so excited to get set up and ready to study!!!  and play some...

This is where she lives just off of campus...

We hated to say good bye but know we will see each other often, as we are so much closer!

Here is a shot of the Logan Temple.  Just a few blocks from campus.

This is one of the oldest temples around.  It is simply beautiful.  We love Logan and have had some fun visits already!

It's been too long.....little boys and mountains!

Cannon came with us to Sundance to see, The Sound of Music.  He loved the transportation we had to use to get to the amphitheater... This was at the end of July...
Cannon on Bapa's lap on the tractor ride up the mountain to see the musical.  What an amazing setting...
Kurt and Jen at Sundance for a fun evening.  Kurt said he wanted to make this a tradition!  I'd have to agree....what an amazing evening we had...the setting perfect!
A few days later we went up American Fork Canyon for a picnic dinner with our friends Jeff and Andrea.

Here is Noah and Andrea....adorable Mom and son.
I love being so close to the mountains and rivers. Utah is such a gorgeous place to live!
Noah and the fresh raspberry pie I made for our picnic. We both made tin foil dinners and got chewed up by the mosquito's!
